Public Narrative

storytelling for connection & Action
Public Narrative is the craft of telling the story of your 'why' and calling others into action with you. Emotional experiences in our lives and moments of agency teach us the values that lead to our callings. By getting in touch with these moments we begin to access our own motivational moral resources in deeper ways; by communicating these to others we help them understand us and motivate them to act with us. Based in the work of Marshall Ganz at Harvard University, this workshop enables participants to dig into their 'why' and communicate it to others, develop community through narrating shared values, and call a group to action around the urgent issues we face.
